History

In order to address the shortage of forensic pathologists around the country, we have gathered a highly dedicated team of (Board Certified / State Licensed) forensic radiologists to help enhance traditional autopsies and to help where there is a shortage of forensic pathologists or no forensic pathologists at all.

In addition, several of our radiologists are involved in forensic research with various leading medical examiner offices and/or work closely with their forensic pathologist colleagues.

The Latest Technologies

Forensic Radiology Group (FRG) uses a secured cloud system, enabling images to be stored and reviewed by any of our team members. The system also allows our team members to review images independently and/or be able to collaborate and consult with other colleagues.

Solutions

Postmortem Computed Tomography (PMCT)

Postmortem Computed tomography (PMCT) is a sophisticated and powerful x-ray system that takes 2D images, offering a cross-sectional view of the inside of bones or tissues in the body and allows 3D surface rendering. PMCT produces very clear detailed images of internal organs, spine, bones, soft tissue, and vessels (including stenosis, occlusion, and ruptures). PMCT can be used to more easily diagnose cancer, heart disease, musculoskeletal disorders, and infectious diseases. Additionally, using radio-opaque dyes, PMCT can be used to further examine trauma such as stab wounds.
