With Autopsies being hard to get and we obviously can’t dissect the individual ourselves since I am not a doctor, but we have the advantage of looking at the medical records, finding out what their medical history is, gathering scene information…so we might have an idea of why they passed away, so we might go ahead and decide to do a postmortem CT scan and the report gets sent to us by Dr. Elifritz or whoever does the reading, it gives us information that can confirm what their medical history was….then we can feel comfortable with the death reasoning based on the images that the forensic radiologist can read and see and provide that to us in the report. – Wayne E.
